• I need to show my chosen documents in person. How do I do this?

When undergoing a DBS check, you'll be required to select a set number of documents (which you intend to show your employer) on your online screening form.

Once you submit your form, you'll receive an email stating that you need to show these documents to your prospective employer in person as your next steps.

You and the organisation requesting your checks solely handle this part of the process. Verifile is not involved in this meeting.

To arrange your face-to-face meeting, you'll need to discuss this with your prospective employer directly.

Before attending this meeting, please ensure that all of your chosen identity documents show your full current legal name—all documents must have your name spelt the same and match exactly (including any middle names hyphens, etc).
