This article will explain how you can ensure your data is deleted from the Verifile's servers.
Throughout the Background Checking process, Verifile acts as the Data Processor, while the company requesting your checks is the Data Controller.
As a result, this means we cannot delete any of your data from our system without their express consent. If you would like your data removed from the Verifile system, you will need to contact the company that has placed your checks to request this.
Were you to make a Subject Access Request (SAR) to us, we would direct this request back to the company. Therefore, we advise you to make any of these requests directly to them in order to speed up the process.
You should ask them to place a Subject Access Request for data deletion with Verifile.
We will verify with the Data Controller once this is completed.
