Clarity surrounding the level of contact you as the candidate should expect to receive from Verifile, and the reasons for that contact.

Where a phone number is provided, Verifile will call you as a courtesy 48 hours after we send you a welcome email. This is to ensure you have received the log in details and to answer any initial queries you may have.

Following the submission of your online form, Verifile will undertake an initial review of the information provided. This is to find out if there is any further information that is required. For example, an authority form may be required to enable us to get your employment or academic references or we may request permission to contact an employer.

We will request this information by phone and follow up via email.

As the background checks progress, we may be required to confirm some details with you, such as dates of employment if a referee has provided different ones to those you have stated or a copy of your certificate if an academic institute has requested it.

Again, we will contact you by phone and email to request this.
