This article covers the final report, and whether the candidate can get a copy of this. You should note that we cannot provide the final report to candidates. 

WHAT DO I NEED?

GUIDANCE:

When all checks are completed, we send a final report to the company requesting your checks with the results of all checks we carried out.

During the background screening process, Verifile acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the organisation requesting the checks. As the processor, we do not own the data we deal with, nor do we control it.

This means that we cannot provide the final report to candidates.

As the organisation who has requested the checks acts as the data controller, they can specify how the data is used. This means that you would need to contact them directly in order to get a copy of the background check report.

Candidates will now understand that Verifile cannot issue background check reports to anyone but our clients (the organisations requesting the checks), and how they can get a copy of their Final Report.
