• I've turned my life around and my background check report doesn't reflect who I am today. How do I explain that?

The background check report reflects the information gathered about the candidate over a certain period of time at the request of the employer.

We rely on fact and use the information we verify during the background screening process and get the results through our own independent investigations.

The candidate may have a different opinion about what the final report should look like and, of course, they have the right to dispute the information reflected on the final report.

First, the candidate should speak to the employer and explain why they disagree with some results on the final report and if it does not precisely reflect who they are today.

The employer is the key body in the pre-employment hiring process that makes the final decision, therefore, these matters must be directed to them.
