This article explains the types of financial checks Verifile offers and what information is used to perform the check related to the credit score.

GUIDANCE:

Where required, we complete credit checks to establish the candidate’s financial status.

Verifile offers various types of financial checks, both in the U.K. and internationally.

In the U.K., we provide credit checks (Equifax/Experian).

In other countries, we offer financial checks which apply to that country such as bankruptcy searches, credit checks, etc.

For both U.K. and international credit checks, we perform a soft search which does not affect the credit score.

These checks require candidates’ personal information such as name, date of birth and the residential address from the country where the checks are requested.
