When providing your address history, you might not locate your address on the drop-down menu after typing in your address.

If the address you're attempting to search for is in the UK, you will need to check whether the address is registered with the Royal Mail. This information can be checked here: Postcode Finder - Find an address | Royal Mail Group Ltd.

If the address you are looking for does not appear on this finder, you will need to contact the Royal Mail to have the address registered to their system. This is a common issue for new build housing.

If your address appears on the postcode finder but still does not appear on the Background Screening form, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can add this information to your form.

If the address you are looking for is not in the U.K. (united Kingdom), this can easily be rectified.

To proceed, you will need to select any of the incorrect addresses on the drop-down list. You will then be presented with an 'edit address' button. Click this, and you'll be able to enter in your address manually.

Many Non-UK addresses will also give you the option to enter your address manually without searching.
