WHAT’S COVERED IN THIS ARTICLE?

This article covers what a candidate should do if they have been requested to provide a UK Academic Qualification, when they have obtained no such qualification in the UK.

WHAT DO I NEED?

N/A.

GUIDANCE:

When filling out the Background Screening form, it may present you with a page that requests details of a UK Academic Qualification. This means that your prospective employer has requested we verify your highest achieved academic qualification.

If you have obtained no such qualification in the UK, you can still complete this page as normal. Provide the details of your highest academic qualification, regardless of which country you got this in.

You can ignore that the check states UK.

Add in the full address of the institute into the relevant section, ensuring you provide the country in one of the boxes - preferably the 'County' section as shown above. Once you have submitted the form, we will update this to an Academic Qualification (Worldwide) check.

RECAP:

The candidate will now understand what to do in the case they have not obtained a UK Academic Qualification.
