Email addresses are required to contact candidates for further correspondence on their background checks, to contact their references or for research purposes.
If you are having difficulties adding an email address in the required field in the online screening form, please check the below points:
- Please check if there is any space added at the front or the end of the email address you have provided. If YES, please remove the spaces.
- Please check the spelling of the email address.
- Please check if the email domain is correct.
- Please check if the email address is still valid.
If you still cannot add the email address, please call Verifile at +44 (0) 1234 339 300 (Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 U.K. time) so our candidate team member can help you add the email address.
You can also add the email address in an alternative place in the online screening form if it's related to a reference check, e.g., employment/self-employment checks, academic/professional qualification checks, or character reference checks.
For example, if you wish to provide an email address for your employer and the email address box in the contact details is showing an error, you can leave the email address box empty and save the email address in the additional notes box (as shown below).
