This article guides candidates to provide access to the employers to view their DBS certificate. 

 

WHAT DO I NEED?

GUIDANCE:

You can provide access to your employer of your DBS certificate in 2 ways.

 

1. When filling the Verifile Screening form, the system will ask if you wish to give consent to your employer and Verifile accessing the DBS certificate such as the below picture.

If you provide your consent by clicking the option as shown above, your employer can view the DBS certificate online through Verifile. ** For Basic DBS check only**

 

 

2. For Standard and Enhanced DBS checks, DBS sends the original paper certificate directly to the applicant's current address through post.

 

Once you have received this, you can provide this to your employer. **

 

 

You can also allow your employer access to view your certificate online. Please click on the below link for guidance: 

Layout 1 (publishing.service.gov.uk).
