WHAT’S COVERED IN THIS ARTICLE?

This article will explain what actions you need to take when your legal name has changed post submission of the online screening form.

WHAT DO I NEED?

N/A.

GUIDANCE:

Once the online screening form has been submitted, you will not be able to edit any of your information. Therefore, if your legal name has changed since you submitted the online screening form, it is imperative that you let us know as soon as possible.

This change can have a big impact on your checks, so it's important that we know as early on in the process as possible. As many checks require this information - such as a DBS check - it is likely a new order will be required for you if any of your checks have begun or been processed.

In this case, you will need to ensure the new form is filled out with your up-to-date current legal name.

If none of your checks have begun, it is likely we can update this so that your checks can proceed as normal - hence why we would require this update be disclosed to us as early as possible.

RECAP:

You will now understand that you will need to contact Verifile as soon as possible regarding your name change.
