In the process of background screening, it can become apparent that a candidate had lived in an overseas country and the employer may request to add additional checks into the order to check candidate’s criminal and credit history or conduct reference checks in that country. 

Please note that background checks covering the history around the globe would go as far back as the employer has requested us to verify.
