This is an overview covering how to reset your password via the Verifile candidate portal.

Note: Some users may not see the password box or Forgot password link. This is because they use a Single Sign On method of entry and a password is not needed.

1. At the top of the Verifile main page (https://www.verifile.co.uk), you’ll find a Login button.

2. Select Login.

3. Use the Forgot Password? link to change your password.

Username and Password

4. Fill in your Username.

You can find your username in the welcome email that we sent you.

Complete username and password

5. Fill in your E-mail address.

6. Click Proceed.

7. A new password link will be sent to your email address.

8. Click on the link enclosed in the email to set your new password.

Password requirements

9. Set your New Password (then confirm it) and click Confirm to complete.

You may now log on as normal with your new password.

Please note: Should you need to copy and paste your new password into the password field, ensure that no spaces have been copied as this may produce an error.
